Kuartal is a media and advisory group covering markets, capital, policy, and geopolitics -- with Indonesia and Southeast Asia first. It's built around one idea: that the economy should be reported on in terms of the wellbeing of people and the limits of the planet, alongside the usual numbers.

The independent financial media platform -- analytical, evidence-driven journalism on macro, capital markets, industrial policy, and the energy transition, written in the register of the FT or The Economist but with a fuller field of vision: who owns the assets, who bears the cost, and what's left behind.
Kuartal Inc
The advisory and consultancy business -- where the investment advisory and startup incubation work described on my services page actually happens. It's advisory only, not a fund or asset manager.
What I'm doing there right now
Most of my working hours go into Kuartal at the moment -- building out the editorial coverage, working with the advisory side's founders and investors, and shaping Mission 2027, the roadmap for what Kuartal becomes over the next few years.
